293 and 311 have been leased by the Acadian Railway Company to pull their train The Acadian. They will operate between Montreal and Saint John NB through Maine. Both locos are currently (2002) en route to El Paso, Texas, where their new coat of paint will be applied.

The operation is no longer running.

started operations in June 2002 and shut
down in June 2003.
