In June 2004 - it was been reported that Amtrak will be getting 10 MP15B's from Motive Power Industries.
They will carry Amtrak road numbers 570-579.
These locomotives will be nearly identical to the CIT GP15D's, except for a lower roof height.

 

They were ordered from Motive Power Industries in May, 2004. Delivery was scheduled for late 2004.
