Coach/Smoking Car 31524 at the end of the Empire
Builder train at Amtrak's maintenance facility in Seattle. SAFECO FIELD, home of Major League Baseball's Seattle Mariners, is in view. This train will move north to King Street Station and prepare to high ball it at 4:45pm on a spectacular ride on the shores of Puget Sound to Edmonds and Everett before heading east to the Cascade Tunnel and Chicago. |

the windows on the bottom floor were blanked out. The other side
of the train is full of windows. This is because the stairs,
and the walk around snack area's refrigerator's and storage cabinets (Yes, they don't just have a little stand that the attendant stands in, you pick up the food your self, and then pay) is all on one side of the train, while majority of the seating is on the other side of the train.
